an occasional update from me, Scott Leffler

News:

Monday: On Reason, we're going to talk about the Bills game in Toronto. After a loss like that, I'm thinking they should just stay there. What are your thoughts? Topics will also include: Caroline? and Chuck Schumer's gift card legislation. Meanwhile, over on Dialog, I'll talk with Bob Confer about "the gang of three" and take phone calls.

Tuesday: On WECK, let's talk about "fairness." Was Sean Avery's six-game suspension fair? Was OJ's prison sentence fair? Should Plaxico Buress be put in jail for a long time? Would that be fair? And then once I shift over to WLVL, let's check in on that laptop issue. Rumor has it, we'll hear about it again soon.

Thursday: Frank and I will revisit the DC trip. I'll be heading to our nation's capitol for the inauguration on January 20th ... and it sounds more and more crazy every day.

Friday: I'll be taking a day off from being a talk show host, so on WECK, you'll hear a previously enjoyed edition of Reason. On WLVL? We'll see what happens there..

Notes: I updated a lot of stuff on the podcast page over the weekend. Dialog is completely up to date and Reason is getting there. Some shows of note: Brian Higgins interview on WECK from November 12th ... and Mike Tucker's interview on WLVL from this past Friday.

The Sabres might have done their job on Saturday ... but the Bills sure made life miserable yesterday. Which team frustrates you more? That's the poll topic on the blog.

Don't forget "the forum" at scottleffler.com ... lots of fun stuff there, but it's been quiet lately. Go strike up a conversation.

Thanks to those who said "hi" on Saturday while I was doing WLVL's remote for "Christmastime in the City."

Necessities: I've been playing with Digsby now for a little over a week ... and can definately endorse it. It's an all-in-one IM/Email/Social Networking program. The only problem ... it will distract you from working ... as though you would call that a problem. I even put an interface on the blog so people without IM programs can contact me when I'm online ... so you can distract ME from working.

I sent this to you because I thought you might appreciate it. If I was wrong, please just respond and ask to be taken off the mailing list. I'll take care of it. If this was forwarded to you and you'd like to receive future updates, please email scott@scottleffler.com and ask to be added to the list. I'll make that happen.
