Weekly update for Oct. 20, 2008

News, notes and necessities

items of interest the week of Oct. 20, 2008

an occasional update from me, Scott Leffler

News: Slower this week than last.

Monday: On Dialog, I'll be joined by Bob Confer to discuss Albany issues.

Tuesday: Sabres LiveBlog from HSBC beginning at 7 p.m.

Thursday: On Reason, I'll talk about the economy with Martin Wolf, and LiveBlog the Sabres game beginning at 8 p.m.

Friday: Lockport Mayor Mike Tucker on Dialog.

Notes: I really have started catching up on podcasts. But it's a slow process. Sorry. I've contacted all of the third party presidential candidates who will be on the ballot in New York. Hopefully I'll bring you more. But the Nader interview went well, wouldn't you say?

This Saturday's game will be the first game of the season that I won't be LiveBlogging. I'll be on my way back from NYC with no access to the internet or the game. :(

I've talked with both sheriff's candidates in Niagara County. We're going to get them both in studio soon.

Necessities: Don't forget my friends at WNYMedia.net.
