I predicted this would happen. Now that the 86 percent of America believes that President Barack Obama was born in the United States, coupled with that whole "killing Osama bin Laden" thing, the GOP realizes that 2012 is not the lock they were hoping for. In fact, it's going to be damn hard for the Republicans to take back the White House next year.
Mike Huckabee decided over the weekend to jump ship, followed Monday morning by Donald Trump. Fortunately, Newt Gingrich has figured out Twitter. And Sarah Palin has figured out the postal service.
Not that any of it matters. Isn't the world supposed to end on Saturday? I'm a little confused. I thought the world was supposed to end on Dec. 21 of next year?
