Well, the president was in town on Tuesday and he had a lot to say ... He wants the Patriot Act renewed, but not everyone likes the Patriot Act. At least one local dignitary didn't even want to hear what Bush had to say. We'll discuss the speech, the Patriot Act and Bush's visit in detail on Thursday.

Moratorium in
Well, the town board voted 3-1 to impose a nine month moratorium on buildings over 80,000 square feet. Town Supervisor John Austin was the sole dissenter (Marc Smith was absent and it's not known how he would have voted). Here's a link to the US&J story about it.

Don't forget that the folks from the WalMart Corporation will be on Wednesday ... and the Town's moratorium vote is Wednesday night at 7.
